Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei Declares Victory Over Israel, Claims US Entered War to Protect Israeli Regime

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Thursday proclaimed victory over Israel and asserted that Iran’s actions compelled the United States to intervene in the conflict. Speaking in a televised address following the recent ceasefire between Iran and Israel, Khamenei claimed that without US involvement, the Israeli regime would have been completely destroyed.

Khamenei’s Statement on US Involvement

In his address to the Iranian people, Khamenei said, “My congratulations to our dear Iran for victory over the US regime. The US directly entered the war because it feared the complete destruction of the Zionist regime. It intervened to save that regime but ultimately failed.”

Iran’s Military Actions Highlighted

Khamenei emphasized that Iranian forces dealt a significant blow to the United States during the conflict, citing an attack on the Al-Udeid Air Base — a major US military installation in the region.

In a post on the social media platform X, he wrote, “The Islamic Republic delivered a heavy slap to the US’s face by attacking and damaging the Al-Udeid Air Base, one of the key US bases in the region.”

Warning to Adversaries

The Supreme Leader issued a stern warning to Iran’s enemies, asserting that any future aggression against the Islamic Republic would be met with severe consequences.

He added in another X post, “The fact that the Islamic Republic can access key US centers in the region and take action whenever it deems necessary is significant. Such actions can be repeated. Should any aggression occur, the enemy will pay a heavy price.”
